The Dovecote

Set on the edge of the delightful village of Harrold, the Dovecote is a range of traditional farm buildings around a sunny courtyard.

There are three cottages, each with its own character, accommodating between 1 and 5 guests. Each has a combined living, dining room and kitchen area equipped with easy chairs, dining table and chairs, Freeview TV & DVD and fully fitted kitchen with cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. All are centrally heated, double glazed and we provide linen and towels. There is a laundry room with a washing machine, tumbler dryer, belfast sink and ironing facilities. Outside, in the courtyard, are picnic tables and a grassy area for ball games etc. Covered parking.

In May 2006 the Dovecote was featured in the Saturday Times Travel Section.

Coach House - ground floor, 3 bedrooms, double (king size bed) with en-suite shower room, twin and single. Family bathroom. Small hall. Spacious living area with patio doors leading to private patio and garden, wood burning stove. Sleeps up to 5.

Stable Cottage - Ground floor with ramp/handrail for disabled access. One double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and one twin room with en-suire shower room (suitable for wheelchair user). Hall and living area. Sleeps up to 4.

The Cote - 2 storey, exposed beams, double bedroom (Super-king or 2 singles) with en-suite shower room. Opens onto field. Sleeps 2.

Harrold is a picturesque village, with a village green (complete with lock-up and butter market) at its heart. At the eastern side there is a country park, which is popular for walkers and bird watchers and has a tea room. Harrold is well served with three pubs, a Post Office with general store, a garage, butchers, hairdresser and beauty treatment centre! To find Harrold take the A428 Bedford to Northampton road and turn to Harrold at the village of Lavendon. Brochure available on request. WiFi available
